Meatspace Lounge

Meatspace Lounge is what our patrons make it. New visitors and long-time friends all constantly remark what fun, eclectic, intelligent, thoughtful, interesting, beautiful people are drawn together here.

You won't read a lot of exclamations in all caps or hear many sound gestures, but you'll find several profiles with snippets of non sequiturs from Meatspace group chat in the picks tab. You won't see a bunch of facelights or bikinis or daisy dukes, but there is as much sharing of shopping discoveries as there is of recipes.

We talk a lot about food. This is because the Meatspace group enjoys, to quote James Earl Jones, "taking a bite out of the sun". Music is something we love, of course, but also nature and art, and all kinds of food - Simple comfort food as well as fine wine and cheese - some Meatspace regulars are even vegetarians!

We certainly aren't snobs but we can be snobbish because we are passionate about the things we love. Another thing we love is other people. Some of may be more introverted than others, but the quiet ones often have the most hilarious or thought-provoking comment to make when they break their silence. No visitor to the lounge ever goes ungreeted at a show. Well, those who would disrespect others might receive a different kind of greeting :)

The Meatspace group is global. We have members from America, Canada, England, Australia, Ireland, Mexico, Poland...we love to travel, another of the finer things in life. We love to discover new places, new music, new food. We love dancing, even just watching other people dance. At any given moment, you might find someone fishing off the dock on the koi pond, chatting around a beach fire, or kissing on a bridge.

We are people-lovers. We find our kind of people at Meatspace Lounge, and we forge new friendships. Sometimes we even get together in real life :)
